HR Audits 

You will receive an initial HR audit to see how compliant your business currently is. 
On an annual basis we will review the business to ensure your continued compliance in all matters HR and Employment Law and to ensure you have the correct documentation in place. 
The audit will include: 
• Inform you of any changes in legislation/case law over the previous 12 months 
• Review current documentation 
• Discuss any ongoing issues you may be having 
• Reviewing onboarding processes/employee relations/personnel files etc 

Employee Handbook 

We will review your existing handbook and policies to ensure they are compliant. 
We will offer guidance on improvements that can be made throughout the handbook. 
A list of what our general handbook covers is below as a guide, however your handbook will be bespoke to your business and will include any additional policies your business requires.

Employment Contracts 

We will review your existing contract of employment to ensure it is compliant and covers the statutory minimum. 
We will then work with you to ensure your contract covers everything you as a business would like it to. Your contract and handbook will work in conjunction with each other and we will ensure they complement each other. 

Disciplinary procedures & Grievance procedures 

We will offer guidance on how to approach disciplinary & grievance procedures making sure you adhere to the ACAS code of conduct throughout.

• We will review hearing notes and advise on your next steps 
• We will advise on the appeal process 
• We are able to attend hearings on your behalf should the need arise 

Redundancy 

Redundancy situations are never easy, however sometimes they are unavoidable. Having written and verbal guidance on how to conduct redundancies can make the process run smoother for all concerned. 
 
• We will assist you throughout, including the consultation process and drafting the relevant letters for each stage. 
• We will work with you when drafting the selection criteria and how to implement this to ensure a fair and consistent approach throughout. 
• We will assist you with any redundancy appeals. 
• We will assist you with conducting meetings within the redundancy process. 

TUPE 

The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 is one of the most complex pieces of employment law there is and strikes fear into most businesses. We can assist you every step of the way having had a significant amount of dealings with TUPE both on the National and International stage.

GDPR 

THE EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) introduced in May 2018 was introduced to protect all EU citizens from privacy and data breaches in today’s data-driven world. The key principles of the Data protection Act 1998 still hold true, however under GDPR they now have a wider impact on businesses across all sectors. 
• We will complete a data processing map with you to ensure you are compliant under GDPR and are not likely to fall foul to a data breach under your current processes. 
• We will draft an employee privacy policy and data protection policy. 
• We will draft a letter to accompany the above documents for issuing to your employees. 
• We will support and offer guidance throughout the process including answering questions your employees may have about the documentation. 
• We will advise on how better to strengthen your processes to ensure you are doing all you can to avoid a data breach. 
• We will draft the relevant documents should you receive a Subject Access Request (SAR) request. 
• We will issue you with template documents for a ‘response to SAR’ request as well as support you when issuing the relevant information and advise on how best to do so without breaching GDPR regulations.
